I have the hottest westward facing apartment. And I have struggled with rotating multiple fans for air circulation, and even other standing portable AC units- but all I was left with was a place louder than the NYC subway system and an overwhelmingly hot apartment. Then I got this unit, I™™d never heard of it before, but the reviews looked good, and the price was seriously competitive. Since getting it, for the first time EVER, my place got a cold! This thing works, it™™s not too loud at all™" friends don™™t hear it when we FaceTime/talk on the phone. The Wi-Fi connect wasn™™t something I™™d think I™™d use, but it is actually quite handy to check on the status when I™™m out. Totally recommend.

I know the unit is meant to exhaust through a window. My wife wanted to avoid that look and we™™re using this in our garage which we™™ve converted to a den. I ended up cutting a hole in my wall, low to the ground so it doesn™™t stick out too much. It works perfect for the den (16™™x20™™ with 10™™ ceiling). I used the app to set a schedule and just leave it on the dry cycle (supposed to use the least amount of electricity, but we™™ll see after the electric bill comes around). The plastic hose that is supplied gives up A LOT of heat, enough that it could be felt from three feet away. I ended up going to Lowe™™s and buy an insulated duct, commonly used for HVACs. No more heat coming off the unit, and the room is comfortable even during the hottest Kentucky days. Don™™t forget that you need a way to drain the water from the back. The tubing supplied wasn™™t very long so I purchased the cheapest hose I could find and ran it out of the house.

I've been needing a portable A/C for the bedroom. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to spend a little extra and got the 3-in-1 Connected Portable air 12,000 BTUsI absolutely love it. It cools down fast and the low setting on the fan is perfect white noise. What makes me really happy is that it connects to your wifi and I can turn it on before I leave work! I haven't used the dry setting as I live in a desert, but I'm super happy with just the A/C part. Great design and very user-friendly app!!

So far so good with this portable ac unit. As previously having a Hisense unit, this Frigidaire unit is quieter and cools the room quickly. The window kit that comes with the unit is lacking in length, as it only comes in a two piece set, so a vertical sliding window such as a bay window will not cover the entire length so I had to use my window kit from Hisense. I do notice that it doesn™™t necessarily cool lower than 64 degrees when the temperature is set to 61, but there might be a slight exhaust/air leak to correct that. The unit also has wifi capability that you can set up via a downloadable app from Frigidaire. With the app, you can control the functionality of the unit as well as set schedules for specific times you want the unit to operate and shut off. Overall, this portable air conditioner meets expectations in efficiency, performance, and ease of use and I would definitely recommend this unit.

They bring the temperature down in minutes. I especially like the WiFi feature we have pets and I am able to turn them on remotely from my phone when I am at work

I replaced an older 8000btu portable AC with this one, and it is a huge upgrade. Not only in btu, but the features - especially the wireless connection that allows me to start it up when I am not home. The cooling is great so far (we haven't had a really hot day just yet) from what I've tried in a room that generates significant heat due to electronics. Feels very well built and can also ionize the air. Loving this so far!

I love the way this cools down an area but it does need a little tlc. The duct kept coming detached either on the window side or the machine side no matter how secure it was. Finally had to use tape to keep it in place, have had no issues thus far

Machine works great and rapidly cools my 600 sq. ft apartment. I find it to be a manageable noise level too. The app is great. The only thing that's causing issues is that the hose doesn't quite fit in the AC port in my apartment unit tightly, so the hose often falls off, and despite buying a duct resizer I've had to just use my window which wasn't ideal.

The features and cooling are solid. It™™s nearly impossible to install if you don™™t have a standard seize window. The instructions say to trim the window adapter. You need a saw to do this. Local hardware stores wouldn™™t do it, and I had to go to a specialty plastics store. Cut a gash in my hand during installing as well because of this.

Great A/C unit. Easily cools our large bedroom. We move it between the bedroom and living room depending on where we are chilling. The window adapter moves from window to window pretty quickly and the rollers make moving it so nice. One day will invest the money in another one of these so we don™™t have to continually move it! Also love that it can be controlled by the phone app so I don™™t have to care where the remote continuously runs off to.

Love this air conditioner. It works really really well and I like that it closes itself while not in use so it doesn't get dirty. The plastic pieces that come with it (the part the sits in the window and the connectors) are super super cheap and broke before we even got to use it, hence the four stars, not five. But the air conditioner itself does a great job

I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of the portable air conditioner. I bought one unit that I was going to use in our living area on the main floor, and was going to carry it up and down stairs to our bedroom area to cool there as well at night. However, the unit is so great at cooling and it's quiet, etc... that I'm going to purchase another unit to keep permanently upstairs in our bedroom area. It also saves me on my cooling bill - much cheaper to run than my central air to cool 4000+ sq feet. The unit is also much quieter than expected. When I told friends I'm getting one, they said that I wouldn't want to use it long term because of how loud they are.

The window panel only allows installation to the right side of window. I need it to the left so I have to install upside down which doesn™™t seal correctly. I would return the unit but I™™m disabled and impossible for me to do. The unit itself works great on fan because I don™™t have to vent that mode.

The one thing that I like about it quieter the thing that I don™™t like about it it doesn™™t seem like it cools my room and my room is not that big that™™s why I bought the bigger BTU and you can hear the compressor kick off and it™™s not even at the set temperature it™™s like four or 5° away from it And for the money I just don™™t think it was worth it but like I said it doesn™™t get very cold
