I absolutely love my new stove. I only have 1 complaint. The knobs turn super easy. Like way way too easy. bump into them its on easy. So I'm on both sides of the fence of this which is why I gave it 4/5 stars. I have dexerity issues with the 1 hand I can use and no use of the other. I accidently bumped it as a short person reaching the cupboard above and it turned on. While the ease od turning it on is wonderful for my dexterity issues, its also a saefty hazard. especially for anyone with children or pets. I immediately bought childlocks. perhaps have an option of pushing in all the way before you can turn it on, seriously the slightlest bump turned mine on so I had to get these wedge child locks. Perhaps include them with the stove as safety item like the anti-tilt brake. They were under $10 my cost so I'm guessing the cost would be pennies but many positive reviews for including and it would not have to redesign it.

Got this beauty delivered Feb. 19 (about 10 days ago) and I am in love! I haven't tried all of the functions, but bake, no preheat, time cook, and broil operate perfectly! The smooth top is beautiful and does not scratch nearly as easily as I thought it would. (Although, someone in my house did manage to put a one inch thin scratch in it by day 3. ??) The stove top heats very evenly - even better than I expected. My 2 complaints are minor: I wish the top was matte or had some sort of pattern so that it didn't show EVERY. SINGLE. THING. Seriously, I clean it to mirror reflection, walk back in 10 minutes later and you can see every speck of dust that has settled...And the volume on the buttons and timer. NO. JUST NO. I had to turn the volume off. It has 2 settings: off, and make-your-ears-bleed. We chose off, and use a timer on our phone or just stay close and watch it. Other than that, so far, so good. Very happy with this purchase.

This 30"slide-in electric range is our 1st Frigidaire appliance. It is replacing a GE Profile that died after 2-yrs. Everything about the Frigidaire range is superior to the GE. We especially love the smooth top which is much easier to keep clean. We also love how we'll the stovetop elements work, very even and fast heating. The no-preheat oven actually works! The GE's did not. The only complaint is that the meaIntegrated meat probe doesn't work well. We will try again and then request a replacement. We also had to adjust the oven door to get it to close at the top. We also had to adjust the oven temp setting but kudos to Frigidaire for telling us how to do that.

I love my air fryer/sous vide, a Ninja Foodi, but this stove nearly makes the Foodi obsolete. The bridge function on the stovetop is better than any I have seen for my griddle, with even heat. The steam bake is fantastic for bread, once I got over the weirdness of dumping water into my oven floor. I have only had this for a few days so I can™€™t speak to any long term issues but so far, it is great. Buying direct from Frigidaire saved me some money ey too and was very convenient.

How does the Steam Bake/Steam Roast function?

I I would like a straight answer to following."what is the difference in functionality between pressing the Steam Bake button on the stove verses pressing the Bake button?" it appears that steam bake simply means placing water at the bottom of the oven. Can this really be advertised as an additional feature of the oven? I spent a long time on the phone speaking to representatives who clearly did not understand my question.In fact they seemed to have a poor understanding of the product. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that that was not possible but they would send me information via e-mail. They never did. Since I bake bread, I was under the impression as someone has already stated that steam bake indicated some physical form of injecting steam into the oven. I am disappointed that a company with the reputation of Frigidaire is either capable of deceptive advertising or failure to explain how to use a touted feature of the appliance.
