Doesnt FIT

Doesnt fit. Spent 38 minutes on the phone with customer service and finally got a link to a form that I couldnt fill out because supposedly this filter is the one for my refrigerator model LCFC26xss. After all that I had No resolution and I cant get the filter off auto-ship subscription without having to call customer service which is like playing hot potato on the phone. If I removed strapping tape and popped it out of the frame it would probably fit. But Im afraid of tearing the flimsy non-woven fabric. If I used a razor to get it out I would run the risk of slicing the fabric. Im not sure what to do about replacing the air filter now.

Spent $75.00 on a 3 pack of LG Air filters recommended by LG for my refrigerator. I received the filters today and they do not fit my refrigerator. I had to remove the plastic white window frame to insert the charcoal colored filter directly into the identified space. If I had read all the 1 star reviews that were left by other dissatisfied customers I wouldnt have bought the filters. What a rip off.

I have been getting filters by using autoship for years but when I tried to change my credit card number and expiration date LG website would not allow me to make changes. Called support and they could not help me and I could not give them my credit card info for them to make the changes nor could I purchase filters through them. Had to get my wife to create her own account and have her order the air filters....absolutely disgusting support

The new unit came with one installed so suggest making that more clear on the website. Also I paid for expedited delivery because I thought I was paying for an expedited delivery of my refrigerator - that did not turn out to be the case - it was only the filter I payed to have expedited. --/

The air filter and water filter work fine. The problem was the air filter had a white case around it and wouldnt fit in the case the old filter came out of. After getting through the maze of who to call on the LG website I finally talked to someone and was told it was the correct filter. I again explained it was 1/4 to 3/8 too large. The solution was Just take the cover off. I said Id try that but if it didnt work would I receive a refund as I was told that was the solution. I was assured a note was made to allow a refund if it didnt work. It did fit without the case. My frustration is have to jump through hoops to be told to change the product that was supposed to fit.

I bought both then saw there was no air filter installed - and now upon inquiring a different bot tells me this model doesnt require an air filter. The water filter is great. The air filter did not fit my refrigerator. I had to cut open the plastic frame and remove the innards those fit in the slot. I had an impossible time getting LG site to identify what my refrigerator needed. Ive never dealt with a maker not being able to ID my model and what it needs You have QR codes in the refrigerator why do you not have the capabilities to scan that and have the appropriate items pop up?

Finding the correct filter was very easy. It gives peace of mind to have auto delivery set up as well. We received both filters very quickly. The water filter was very easy to change. The filter inside the refrigerator has proved to be a bit more of a challenge. Mostly because the door does not come off easily and we dont want to break it.

I purchased these items IN STOCK online on Monday 7-15-24 and paid for expedited shipping to get these items on Wednesday 7-17-24. On Wednesday I did not receive my package. I called on Monday 7-22-24 and still had not received my package. LG stated it was shipped on Friday 7-19-24 but did not show as shipped in tracking information. LG stated I should receive the items in a few days. I called LG on Friday 7-26-24 to cancel my order and receive a refund. I still had not received my items after 2 weeks WITH EXPEDITED SHIPPING. I am still waiting for a refund for these items plus the expedited expense I paid. I cancelled due to locating a store locally that had the items in stock and items were replaced in one day. Thanks LG. I will not be using your website again. Im sure the product wasnt poor but the service sure was
